LOST IN TEMPTATION has finaled in yet another contest! This time it's Phoenix RWA's Golden Quill Award. It's been an exciting year (how's that for an understatement? :)).

April's contest winner is Linda Hay of Palm Coast, Florida. Congratulations, Linda! Your cameo is in the mail. This month's contest question is "How old will Alexandra be when she has her first London Season?" Some entrants are getting this wrong, so here's a hint for my favorite newsletter readers: It's not Alexandra's current age or the age she was when she met Tristan (two common wrong answers)--you have to read deeper into the prologue. And guessing is probably not a good idea (especially, if like other people, you guess 27 or 35!).

Every month all the old entries are tossed out and the contest starts over. Speaking of TEMPTING JULIANA (which will be in stores in November), I have a cover! April's "Website of the Month" prompted the most comments ever...I had no idea so many of you loved cats! In honor of all you feline fanciers, I've decided that this month's "Website of the Month" will actually be TWO sites that I find amusing: http://www.catsinsinks.com and http://www.stuffonmycat.com. I don't think I need to explain these--the names of the sites pretty much say it all. <grin> And those of you who don't adore cats (which is fine with me, honest!) can rest assured that this is the last time I'll choose cat sites. Ever. I swear!

Author Brenda Novak is running an online auction to raise funds for diabetes research. There are hundreds of items to bid on, including lots of autographed books. I've donated two hardcovers: VIOLET, the first book in my Flower Trilogy, and IN PRAISE OF YOUNGER MEN, an anthology of four British-set historical romance novellas written by Jo Beverley, Cathy Maxwell, Jaclyn Reding, and me. If you win VIOLET, I will autograph it to you personally. The anthology has a bookplate inside that's been autographed by all four authors (and I can also personalize the book to you if you'd like). Both of these books are out of print and unavailable to buy new anywhere else (not only these hardcover editions, but the paperback versions, too), so if you're interested, visit Brenda's auction site at http://brendanovak.auctionanything.com and see what it's all about. There are many wonderful things up for auction, and all the money will go to an important cause--so bid, bid, bid! I've bid on a bunch of stuff myself, and I promise not to get mad if you outbid me. <grin>

Later this month, on Saturday, May 27, I'll be signing books at the Los Angeles Highland Games at the L.A. Fairplex in Pomona, California. You'll find me in one of the vendors' buildings at the Tea & Sympathy booth. If you live in Southern California or will be visiting for Memorial Day Weekend, I'd love to see you there.
