Dear friends and family~

Welcome to all of my many new subscribers! And "hi again" to those of
you I met at the L.A. County Fair. I love chatting with readers, so I
hope to meet many more of you in the future!

I don't have any particularly exciting news this month, so let's just
get to the important stuff! First, the contest...Congratulations to my
September winner, Jan Bishop of Winter Springs, Florida. Jan, your amber
necklace is in the mail!

This month's contest prize is a genuine pearl and emerald necklace to go
along with EMERALD, the middle book of my Jewel trilogy. The contest
question is "What color are Caithren's eyes?" and you can find the

This weekend, October 9th and 10th (both Saturday and Sunday), I'll be
signing books all day at the Seaside Highland Games, held at Seaside
Park on the Ventura County Fairgrounds in Ventura, CA. I'll be joined by
fellow romance authors Glynnis Campbell, Jeanette Baker, and Kathleen
Givens. Please look for us in the vendor's section (I believe we'll be
inside one of the buildings) at Tea & Sympathy's booth. For more

I'm looking forward to a trip to London later this month to research
some details for the book I'm currently writing, TEMPTING JULIANA. So
